For those of you dreaming of a white Christmas

We respectfully suggest that you kiss our frozen asses here in Montreal....

This was during the storm on Sunday. Terrance valiantly attempted to keep up with the snow...to no avail

Do you see the neighbors swing? Yeah, I don't think he will until May either.

This is the garland. Can you see it? Of course not. Damn you winter!!!

The measurement of the snow is now 4 and a half feet. You can see that the snow has come almost to the edge of the balcony.

So, brethern in warmer climes - I now officially declare you the winner.

On behalf of the state of Maine, I agree. You southerners? You win.

Until hurricane season.

And here I thought our eight inches of snow were kind of impressive.

P.S. I think your garland looks more festive with snow. At least, that's what I have been telling myself about my garland. But my garland is actually plastic, so I guess it needs all the help from nature it can get.

When I moved from Rochester, NY to Philadelphia, the amount of snow I experience each winter decreased by an insane amount. Down here, three inches closes schools. Up there, we could have three feet and those blasted plows would have the roads nice and clear for the next school morning.

I miss snow, but I totally remember the oppressive nature of it, as you've so aptly photographed here.

Whoa. I never would've been able to guess that was a swing set.

I am so jealous. It used to snow like that here, but no more. It snows one day and the next it rains and it's all gone. I miss 4 feet of snow. Crazy, I know. :)
