Chianti is evil, especially when offerred in a caraffe

Saturday, March 18, 2006

Woo-wee folks. Someone has had 4 glasses of chianti and is feeling GOOD! Someone took down a days worth of entries cause she was filled with self loathing. Someone had dinner with her oldest and bestest friend and drank alot before 8 pm on a Saturday night, then demanded that her husband buy her a whoopie pie so that she could sugar up.
Someone tearfully told her husband that he was the greatest husband in the whole wide world and that even though he hated that she wrote about his balls and trimming her lady bush with his trimmers, that he was ok with her doing it, cause he knew it was important to her.

Someone spoke the entire lyrics of "It takes two" with above mentioned bestest friend, cause all classy ladies of a certain age know ALL the lyrics of this hip hop anthem, while toasting with the caraffe of Chianti. With our 7 year old daughter and 9 month old son watching. Cause we roll that way Be-yatches.

Someone needs to have ONE more glass and then get with her husband to buy herself some recovery time in the AM.....

Demonic Chianti , I rebuke thee. BTW. I am also your bitch.

Don't drink and blog.

Did I mention you should buy my shirts? Just for the hell of it?

You are out of control. And I am sooo envious. Someone here is the worst "room mate" ever and drank all the beer in the fridge on her husband before the weekend hit and did not replace it. I suck...especially 'cause I want a BEER!!

You are too funny. Sounds like you had a lot of fun (other than the self-loathing part, of course)... perhaps you need another couple of glasses of Chianti?

I definitely need to get me one of those shirts. They'd be perfect to wear to work!

Dang, woman, I spent the evening at Chuck E. Cheese. The chianti they have there ... well, not so much, you know?

Someone is my hero. You party it up mama. No regrets. Not even the drunken blogging.

Dawn. You're having my kind of my party. Without me. Call me next time, and I'll show up wearing one of your tees and with a bottle Chianti.

I would like to suggest that we all go out for karaoke at BlogHer, because it seems there's one song that we all know by heart. We'll just need to order a few carafes of Chianti beforehand.

So, I know there is MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving)...but is there any formal group, organized to speak out against Drunk Blogging? I don't think so, not yet anyway...

Go nuts, I say! And quick...before it becomes illegal and the internet police suspend your ISP service for doing such a thing!!

Oh...sounds fun. You go girl! It Takes Two transports me back to my college days, too...dancing at "The Armory" big parties with my girlfriends and all the cute frat boys (and I wasn't even Greek but I loved the cute frat boys or cute boys in general). Sigh... Hope you feel OK today. Remember, caffeine and Ibuprofen are your friend!

Love the drunken blogger. More please?

While your Chianti may need to be temporarily relinquished, your husband sounds like a definite keeper. As does your blog! You described a universal emotion among most married women so well in your last post.

BTW, so glad to come across someone in the blogosphere who can commiserate with gov't memos.

That's some damn fine "under the influence" typing! And I love me some "It Takes Two" but I sure as hell don't know all the words and I'd be asleep after the third glass. Ya'll put me to shame!
